About this model

Model overview

What the LSEL6335LE is

The LSEL6335LE is an electric range. That means heating elements for the surface and the oven, a control board, a door lock for cleaning and cooling fans behind the panel. No other features are claimed here, so we confirm everything against your label.

Typical faults

  • The oven does not reach the set temperature or takes long to preheat.
  • A burner does not heat even though the knob is on.
  • The oven door stays locked after a cleaning cycle.
  • The display shows a letter and number message.

Slow warm-up is covered in oven slow preheat and uneven results in oven cooks unevenly.

Display messages

LG range messages begin with F. An oven heating message is at code F9. A door lock message is at code F10. A cooling fan message during self clean is at code F27. A power interruption note is at code PF.

Electric supply in older buildings

Ranges draw a lot of power. In older SF buildings the outlet and breaker may be shared or worn. If the oven loses power with the burners on, or a breaker trips each time you bake, stop using the range and tell us. A scorch mark at the plug or burning smell means power off at the breaker.

Safe checks, then a booking

Check the breaker, wipe spills from the control area, and let the range cool before inspecting. Do not remove the back panel or test terminals.

Our LG range and oven repair page explains booking. The LG ranges and ovens guide lists models. A wall oven neighbor in our list is the LG WCEP6427F.

What a range diagnosis looks like

We start by watching the symptom: preheating the oven, turning on each burner, and listening for the cooling fan and door lock. Then we look at the elements, the sensor, the control and the supply, in an order that matches what we saw.

You will hear what we found in plain words, and the estimate arrives in writing. If a part has to be ordered, we say so and explain what you can safely use in the meantime.

Cooktop surface care

Boil-overs that dry on the surface can leave a film around the burner and the control knobs. Wipe the cooled surface with a soft cloth. Cracked glass, loose knobs or a burner that glows unevenly should be reported before you cook again.
