About Our LG Repair Service
We are a repair service built around one brand and one region. Every request that reaches us is an LG appliance somewhere in San Francisco or the wider Bay Area, so the work, the tools and the habits of the team are tuned to the same family of machines: French-door refrigerators, front-load washers, heat pump dryers, slide-in ranges, dishwashers, microwaves and the Styler steam closet.
What we promise and what we do not
There are three commitments and we keep them short on purpose. The appliance is diagnosed before a repair is proposed. You receive the estimate in writing. Nothing is repaired until you say yes. Beyond that, we describe a repair as it is: sometimes a small part, sometimes a part that has to be ordered, and sometimes a unit where repair stops making sense. You decide with the facts in front of you.
How a visit runs
Booking
You send the appliance type, the model number if you can find it, the symptom and any code on the display. The more precise the description, the better we can plan the visit and the parts we bring. If you are unsure where the label sits, the guide on finding the LG model number covers the usual spots.
At the door
The technician first asks what you saw and heard before the problem appeared, then looks at the installation: the power outlet, the water line, the drain, the gas valve, the clearances around the appliance. Many faults live in the installation rather than in the machine, and a quick look at the surroundings saves guesswork.
Diagnosis and estimate
Testing follows the symptom. After that you get the findings and a written estimate, explained in plain language. If you want time to think, take it.
Repair and wrap-up
With your approval the repair goes ahead, the appliance is tested, and the technician shows you what changed and what to watch for in the next weeks.
Why the Bay Area setting matters
Appliances here live in unusual spaces. Hillside flats mean stairs and tight turns, older buildings mean modest electrical capacity and old drain standpipes, condo towers mean shared quiet hours and elevator reservations. We ask about access, parking and building rules when we book so that the visit does not stall at the front door. Property managers and landlords can coordinate with tenants through the same request form.
The editorial desk
Guides on this website are prepared by Marcus Lindqvist, Appliance Care Editor. His role is to turn what technicians see on the job into plain explanations that an owner can use before booking: what a symptom usually points to, which checks are safe from the outside, and when to stop using the appliance. The articles describe general repair knowledge for LG appliance types; they never replace a diagnosis at your home.
